Maisin Archives Blog
When Anne Marie Tietjen and I first stayed with the Maisin people in 1981-83, we never could have imagined that 35 years on we would be able to talk instantly with Maisin friends by cell phone or share news on Facebook. I am setting up this site to share some of the research materials I have collected over the years as well as to gather other sources of information on Maisin culture and history. As well as providing greater access for Maisin people to these invaluable materials, I hope that this site will stimulate interest in the documentation, preservation and revitalization of Maisin traditions among the people themselves.
If you have materials you would like to contribute to this site, please let me know!
